• Question: is it possible to make 4d tv's?

      In science, the 4th dimension is often considered to be time. And since we watch TV for a period of time (sometimes too long), I guess it is 4D!

      Cinemas have a different definition of 4D where the 4th dimension is special sensations like wind on your neck, or rocking chairs, and this could be added to home TVs but I suspect it might cost a lot!

      We are now developing very good 3D though, 3D where you wear a helmet and all you see is the image on the screen. This is called Virtual Reality and might become an important part of television in the future!
