The Hertford College Zone

Students standing in Oxford University hold a sign that says 'There is a place for you here' signIn the Hertford College Zone, you’ll meet scientists and researchers from two of Oxford University’s colleges – Hertford and Wadham. There’s a scientist working on photosynthesis in crop plants, one making mathematical models for medicine, and one exploring a potential anti-cancer drug using a substance extracted from the digestive glands of scallops!

Through reading the scientists’ profiles, taking part in termly live CHATs, and ASKing questions on anything you like, you can learn about the scientists’ work and follow their research over the year; learn about their lives and what they do outside work; and get advice on careers or university.

Ask

ASK the scientists and researchers any questions you have about their lives and work.

Chat

CHAT with the scientists and researchers in a 30 minute long text chat booked by your teacher.

Vote
