I go by the rule that it your home town team is in a lower division you get a second pick of a top club. So growing up in Wales, I supported Swansea City; in fact I was a ball boy when they were in the old fourth division. But I also liked the top team of the time (the 1970’s), Leeds United. They are not doing as well now!
Now I live in Colchester, so I go to their home games and support them as well. I have problems when Colchester play Leeds though!
My local team is Cheltenham Town and me and my dad are sponsors and watch them regularly. They won a cracking game at the weekend beating Burton Albion 6-5 despite being behind 2-0,4-2 and 5-3 during the game. I am, however, a Manchester United fan as my dad and his family has had season ticket’s there for generations (even the time when united were rubbish so no calling me a glory supporter) I know you’re a Leeds fan and so i wont mention the FA Cup as a united fan but as a Cheltenham fan i can mention last season where we didn’t lose to you and beat you. Thanks for answering my question.
