• Question: what did you get in your GCSE'S?

      Can’t remember – long time ago. I passed English, Maths, Biology, and Chemistry with B or C grades. That was enough. There were two or three others. Geology was one of them.

      My GCSE results were as follows:
      Dual Science A*A*
      Food Technology A*
      Business Studies A*
      English Language A*
      English Literature A
      Drama A
      History A
      Maths A
      German C

      Food Technology was my favourite subject. I like cooking, I like food, and it was applied science. Ticks every box 🙂

      all a*s apart from French, Biology and English literature (because I lost all my coursework – very stupid thing to do)

      I didn’t do any! I am so old I did “O” levels instead. And remember there are all sorts of jobs in science – not all need top grades.

      O level grades were marked A, B, C, D or E.

      from memory I got:

      (and it is very sad that I can remember this over 30 years ago – I guess like you I found exams stressful so the results are burnt into my head!).
