      My specialist area is the metabolism of cells. The metabolism is a set of chemical reactions that keep the cell alive and growing. I’m doing a PhD so all of my work is in my specialist area because I have to write a big document for assessment on it. I have to show some examiners that I have improved the understanding of the area that I work in.

      What is your favourite area of science?
