I think that is a very good question and not only will it affect human life but life in this planet as we know it. CO2 is what we know as greenhouse effect gas, which means that it doesn’t let the heat that we get from the sun escape our atmosphere. This in itself is not a bad thing, it is even goos, because that’s why our planets has temperatures that allow life (even in places where we would freeze/burn there is life that has adapted to live there). So CO2 accumulation males the planet hotter and hotter. This makes the ice in the poles melt and the oceans then have more water in them. The first consequence is that cities in the sea would get flooded. Many animals are not able to turn on the a/c and they would end up going extinct, which is a real shame. Eventually if the temperature keeps rising life in the planet would not be sustainable.
