• Question: Is there a way to fully recover from a heart attack?

      Hi Asier,

      Thanks for your question! Nowadays many people that have a heart attack don’t die from it. What happens is that part of the heart muscle dies and can’t grow back again (we are working on it 😉 ) so the heart ends up having a big scar, like when you gen any other injury. This scar can’t beat, so the rest of the heart tries to compensate and grows bigger and bigger to have the same strength as before. But this is very tiring for the heart, so people that have suffered a heart attack always have that scar and their hearts will never work the same way as before.
