Question: Do you get to see where your work goes - have you seen people's lives benefit from your work?

Hi Libby!

Thanks a lot for your question! I wish I could say I have seen a difference in patients lives because of my research. My project could be used as a therapy maybe in some years but so far we are researching so we can know a little bit more about how the heart works. We hope that if all of us working in the heart add a little bit of information all of our projects combined will make a difference.
In the past I have worked with people that found a mutation that make peoples heart not work well since the moment they are born. Because of that research now people can know that their heart is more fragile by looking for that mutation.
