Hopefully. Im trying to find a cure for mitochondrial diseases which affect around 1 in 6000 people. If we do find a cure then this could benefit anyone in the world who have these diseases which can cause very debilitating disabilities.

again hopefully. The disease i am interested in affects people all over the world, so any research we do on these diseases can benefit anyone, anywhere in the world 🙂

There are people all over the world with aging diseases – like mitochondrial disease, Alzheimers or Parkinsons – so I hope that if my research can take us a step closer to curing or preventing these diseases, then it will help people everywhere 🙂

      Hopefully, yes.

Hi sorrel. My work involves looking for genes that affect intelligence, and why some people lose the ability to think clearly as they get older. If we can find out what’s going wrong, that should be the first step towards developing treatments to stop that it happening, and these should work for everyone.

Looks like everyone’s said about the same thing. We all hope that our work will be able to help people, regardless of where they’re from.
