Question: Do the mice ever react badly to the tablets, if so, how?

Nope they are quite happy. I put the tablet under the skin on the back of the neck of the mice. They have lots of extra skin there so there is lots of room and it doesn’t hurt them. I have to make sure that everything is clean and sterile (just like in a human operation). The only bad reaction that could happen is that the tablet makes the sugar in the mouse’s blood too low but I always give them banana chips and seeds as a treat which also keeps their sugar within the normal range
