Some of them yes..but others have to be taken with food as absorption in our body is better with food for some drugs

Some tablets should be taken on an empty stomach and some shouldn’t. This is partly because the medicine in the tablet gets absorbed more quickly from an empty stomach (some medicines need to be absorbed quickly to work best while others work better when absorbed more slowly… on a full stomach).

The other reason is that some medicines can irritate or damage or stomach lining, and food in the stomach can slow down or reduce this damage.

Some tablets work better when you take them on an empty stomach because they medicine in them works better when it is absorbed into your body faster. Some others work better if you take them with food because the medicine can either damage or irritate your stomach, or they work better when they’ve been absorbed more slowly.

It’s all to do with how they are absorbed into your body. Sometimes you need food in your stomach to absorb medication more slowly.

Some tablets do need to be taken on an empty stomach to help them be absorbed into the body – others may cause irritation on the stomach lining – hence they need to be taken with food.

Some tablets you have to. It depends on the drug and what it’s supposed to do.
