My current job involves spending a lot of time writing computer code to try and solve a problem. My favourite thing is when I finally get a piece of code to do what it’s supposed to! Sometimes this can take 100s or even 1000s of lines of code and several days or weeks to do. So it’s really satisfying when it works!

Everyday is different but at the same time I also know that what I do has a big impact on people across the world. My work has led to many lives being saved and as allowed me to reach places I thought I would never reach. I worked with at least 227 scientists (from 52 countries) and made several discoveries. I’ve also met some amazing people on my journey along with some difficult ones as well but as scientists we are motivated to make a difference.
