• Question: What other profession would you not mind/like working in instead of your current job?

      I would love to be involved in something either music related, or in theatre.. playing in the orchestra pit for a West End show would be amazing!

      I think it’s hard to answer without having worked in it as you don’t know what it’s like until you do it. That’s why it’s so hard to decide what to do for your career!

      The skills of a scientist are really quite transferable so there are loads of areas I could see myself enjoying.

      I have worked in a lot of jobs from dishwashing to cutting grass over a summer during Uni and enjoyed them so I reckon I could find enjoyment from a wide range of careers. I just happen to enjoy Science a lot so it’s even better I get to use it in my day job

      I always fancied forensics or crime investigation, but recently I’ve been working a lot on a new Lab Reporting system, so I am now interested in software building.

      As a chef…I even have a youtube channel by the name Dr Bruno Recipes 🙂 I love the science of cooking.

      I think I would like to be a therapist or support people through counselling

      My daughter is currently studying to become a speech and language therapist which sounds really interesting.

      I would love to be a full time comedian, but that’s incredibly difficult so probably not going to happen.
