I think it’s hard to answer without having worked in it as you don’t know what it’s like until you do it. That’s why it’s so hard to decide what to do for your career!
The skills of a scientist are really quite transferable so there are loads of areas I could see myself enjoying.
I have worked in a lot of jobs from dishwashing to cutting grass over a summer during Uni and enjoyed them so I reckon I could find enjoyment from a wide range of careers. I just happen to enjoy Science a lot so it’s even better I get to use it in my day job
I always fancied forensics or crime investigation, but recently I’ve been working a lot on a new Lab Reporting system, so I am now interested in software building.
