It depends what you mean by stupid… I guess my biggest one is when people deliberately go into rooms with people they know are infected with something.
In my field in mental health , I haven’t really encountered this . I am also aware as individuals we all have different ways of viewing challenges they face . So the approach is to see peoples’ difficulties from their unique perspective . It helps with understanding their illness , discussing and choosing treatment that could meet their needs.
Some people give themselves an illness to do achieve other things. For example some will eat tapeworm eggs in order to lose weight! this is not a good thing as it can then be difficult to get rid of the worms – imagine them wriggling about in your tummy.
