• Question: if oil floats on water, if i cover myself in oil, could i fly in the rain???

      I suppose that you would need to consider how hard it was raining, along with weight of yourself, and the oil that you use.
      Oil as hydrophobic (water dislike) tails and hydrophillic (water loving) heads – this is what causes oil to for droplets. If you were wanting to cover yourself with oil to fly – how would you breath as you would need to be entirely covered in oil?

      you would probably float..in water (rain would fall down)…unless you go beyond gravity

      You might float. It would probably need a LOT of oil to make it work.
