I get to do a lot of fun experiments with the MRI scanner! The MRI scanner is a medical test you find in hospitals that allows doctors and scientists to scan the inside of the human body for eg. brain, stomach and in my case, the brain. I like working with the scanner and looking at different parts of the brain including tiny blood vessels and the larger brain liquid.

I like I get to ask questions and find out the answers to them by running experiments/interventions. Sometimes, my research really helps people improve their health and well-being!

I like being a scientist because I have freedom to find answers to questions that I like in the lab for instance trying to solve cancer, also I really job the lab mates I work with, also being a scientist I get a chance to go around the world to present my work and meet nice people
