I loved learning about the human body, because I was able to learn new things but always understand them better because they were happening right there and then in my body too. It’s fascinating what ours bodies do, so to this day I am still amazed by human biology.
I enjoy learning new skills and getting to put them into practice – a new laboratory technique, how to use a machine I haven’t used before, or even how to build a wall
I love learning about lots of things, whether that is facts or new skills.
For instance, did you know that your small intestine, if it was unwound would be about three and half times the length of your body (how does it all fit in there?!)
A fun skill to learn is how to use both your hands to do things. So, try writing with both your left and right hands…and once you’ve mastered that, try writing with your feet!
(I can’t write with my feet, but the latest technology is looking at how to have an extra, robotic, thumb that is controlled by your toes)
