The gall bladder is an organ that stores bile. Bile is made by the liver and is important for breaking down or digesting fats that you have eaten. The gall bladder isn’t a vital organ and you can live a perfectly normal life without it! Some people will have the gall bladder removed if it isn’t working properly.
