I have a few jobs and I am very lucky because I find that they all help people in some way:
*pharmacist – helping people with questions about their medicines and/or health, teaching people how best to take their medicine, taking to other healthcare professionals (e.g. doctors and nurses) about how best to prescribe and give medicines
*Personal Trainer (PT) – helping people learn about how to exercise safely, how to eat healthy and tasty food, and how to achieve their health goals
*university Senior Teaching Fellow – teaching medical students (future doctors) about how to connect with patients through being kind and understanding, running a module where students learn about research, working on lots of initiatives to improve equality, diversity, and inclusion
*university student – trying to find the science behind the non-medical activities we do that we know help us but that modern medicine doesn’t prescribe (e.g. gardening, singing, yoga, painting, meditation)
