I love the fact that my research covers engineering and science through to patients and how to help them have better quality of life. Looking at both the new information that the scientific research can find out, and the positive impact it can have on people’s lives makes it really enjoyable and worthwhile. I also enjoy finding out new details that no one else has looked at or discovered; my research can be seen as a bit ‘science fiction’ too which I kind of like.

I enjoy researching anything that will benefit patients. I like that my research has a direct benefit on lots of people and for me reproductive health is a fascinating topic

I enjoy research focussing on processes involved with DNA and how that can effect whether a cell or organism is healthy or not. I really enjoy working with protein in a purified system to study how it acts or behaves under different conditions.
