Question: Has the patient who you diagnosed with flesh-eating fungus recovered?

I actually don’t know. The one downside to my job is that I don’t always find out the outcome of the patients whose samples we process. We do discuss interesting cases but this one has passed me by. The patient had to have several skin grafts so this will have changed their life for them, they probably haven’t fully recovered.
