• Question: how many hours do you work a day?

      It varies. Somewhere between 6 and 12 hours a day depending on how much I have to do! I’m usually at work for at least 8 hours a day, but sometimes I have to (for example) wait for the MRI scanner to be free or wait for a person to come and have their brain scanned so I can use that time to read something or just chat to friends and have a cup of tea 🙂

      Oh massively varies, but I generally start work anywhere between 8 and 10am and leave between 4 and 9pm.

      I generally base home time on the amount of work done vs how hungry I am… its a delicate balance.

      It depends. Typically about 8-10 hours a weekday, but less on weekends. More when I’m in Japan, because I’m trying to get as much as possible done in the limited time before I go back, and more if there’s an impending deadline. Because I am spending time answering your questions when I have an exam to finish marking, I will probably work at home in the evening tonight!
