      Yes, absolutely, In my work on stroke diagnosis, I met several people who had had bleeding of the brain as a result of a head injury or a long term condition. Through my work with deaf people, I’ve had people who participated in my research who have been deafened as a result of head trauma or a disease that affects not only the hearing, but also vision and thought processes.

      Outside of work I also help people who have severe learning disabilities.
