      Haha 🙂 no seriously. Absolutely not! Goldfish have pretty good memories as far as the fish world goes (although I think they’ve had more research done on them than some other fish too). They can be trained to expect to receive food from an object on hearing a particular sound (just like Pavlov’s dogs) and some research has shown that they will still rush up to the food-producing object some 5 months after being taught the link! So, not too bad for a fish!
