My curiosity more than anything else. At its heart, that’s what science is all about, being curious. I’ve always loved cooking and baking, and as I learned more science at school, I began to understand better what was going on in my cooking and why some things tasted good, and others tasted bad, or why mil is good when something is very spicy. I thought that was so cool, and I loved that feeling of learning and understanding, so I have just kept doing things which give me that feeling, and that is how I have ended up where I am.
