I have always loved animals and being in nature – whether it is watching them on TV or going on a walk in a local woodland. David Attenborough was my hero growing up! So when I realised you could have a career studying animals, it was a no brainer! That was what I wanted to do! So i made choices at school to make that happen. For example, I knew I wanted to study Biology at University, so I chose to study Biology and Chemistry at Sixth Form as having two sciences would increase my chances of getting into University. I hated Physics and was useless at Maths so it had to be Chemistry.
