      Antimatter is pretty rare, yes, because as soon as it runs into normal matter (the stuff that makes up us and everything around us), it gets destroyed. So the only way antimatter exists is if something makes it because if there were any sitting around it would already have been destroyed by all the matter around us. But whatever made the antimatter is probably made of matter so the antimatter will probably hit into whatever made it and get destroyed.
