I am interested in behaviour which means trying to understand why the bugs do what they do. This normally involves changing something and seeing how the bugs react by doing a behavioural observation. This is a fancy way of saying I just watch what they do and take notes! I do these observations in the dark using a red light because the bugs I work on are nocturnal which means they are most active during the night.
