Probably making a hydrogen/air rocket! When it goes well the rocket (a plastic bottle) can fly about 20 metres!! It is important to do this outside through so no one gets hurt.

The funniest experiments are probably the ones that shock you with loud bangs! We once experimented with contact explosives at school, which are powders that when you mix them and hit them with a hammer, they explode! (This can be dangerous, but in small quantities it is safe as long as you are wearing safety-glasses!) The funny thing was that someone spilt some on the floor, so then we were walking around the lab standing on them and setting them off! That was pretty funny!

One that I like to do for show is to throw some solid carbon dioxide (dry ice) into some warm water and watch it bubble – it looks like a witch’s cauldron!
