I recently helped out at a chemistry workshop for primary school children, and it was very popular. I think what was enjoyable for them (and for me!) was being able to do practical experiments. I was helping out with a bouncy ball experiment which was very popular.

The idea is to do a practical workshop something like this, but specific to green chemistry. I think this is important because it isn’t something you learn about in schools very much (I certainly didn’t know much about green chemistry when I was at school). So we hope that we can use experiments to teach this, including a rocket powered by biofuel!
