I’ve always wanted to be a scientist for as long as I can remember, but its nothing like I imagined. I thought we had to wear lab coats and goggles all day, but most of the time I just wear whatever I like 🙂

It’s strange, I never really ‘decided’ I’ve just been doing what I feel is the right next step. I think I knew I wanted to work in science when I was 16, I read about black holes and thought they were awesome and wanted to be the first person to see inside one. I guess if any, that would be the moment where I wanted to become a scientist 🙂
      Sorry for the flimsy answer.
      Great question,

I’m still not sure what I will do in the future, but I decided to do a research PhD at the end of my university degree. That was when I was 23, and it has taken me 4 years to complete my PhD. Before then I was really unsure what I wanted to do – when I left school, it took me ages to decide whether to do physics or engineering!

At school I wasn’t too bad at maths and quite liked space, so I went to university to study Physics.
I had a really great time doing fun physics things at university, so when I realized that people will literally pay me to keep having fun I signed up immediately! 😀
