      Hello!

For my life personally, I’ve been really lucky to be working on gravitational wave data analysis at the time of the first detection of gravitational waves from collide black holes in 2015! It’s been a really exciting time and I feel very fortunate to have been involved even if only as a tiny part! I’ve also had some opportunities to travel, going to conferences and met some great people.

In the future next year I am moving to Australia to carry on working on gravitational wave data analysis for 3 years. So that is a big effect on my life and also for my partner who is coming with me! I am pretty excited to move and explore a new place, but also pretty scared too and I’ll miss my parents, brother and family a lot. It’s often the case that working in science research means people have to move around a lot for work, and it can be hard to find permanent jobs in research. So I’m still not sure what I will want to do when I finish my job in Australia!
