actually the sun isn’t made up of cells but of many different gases, it has a hot core and it burns the gases which is what makes it shine. Like a candle. But think of a giant candle that is round, like an orange, constantly burning, releasing heat and light to our solar system. The closer a planet is to the sun, the hotter it is. Which is why Venus is much hotter than us and Mars is much colder than us. And the light we get from the sun is what has enabled plants to grow.
I think (though I’m not entirely sure) that the sun is mainly made up of Hydrogen gas, and thats what it burns. But best to ask an astronomer or something.
