Question: what is biochemistry

Hey! Great question- biochemistry is the study of the chemistry that goes on in biological systems. Basically it’s figuring out what reactions take place inside cells to keep us going. I like it because it’s chemistry w/ a tangible application- for example your cells need to make DNA- how does this happen? what proteins or enzymes are responsible for this and how do they work? the answers to those questions are all apart of biochemistry!
