Books – it’s a tie between “The Third Policeman” – a surreal Irish story about a murderer, an army of one-legged men and the atomic danger of turning into a bicycle – and “Pride and Prejudice” which I love because it is entirely gossip from start to finish.

Films – “The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie”.

My favourite book… good one. Well ever, ever, ever, I really like The Crow Road by Iain Banks – kind of a really informative story about a blokes life with a bit of a murder mystery in there, very funny but also sad, too. BUT I recently read High Rise by JG Ballard and really liked it. It’s a bit of a sartorial story about people living in a futuristic high rise building but somehow society degrades and they end up living like ancient tribes or something… again some very funny bits, some shocking bits.

Favourite Movie, I suppose it always comes back to The Matrix. Shame the Trilogy wasn’t as amazing as it potentially could have been. Oh well. On it’s own the first movie was and still is amazing.
