Question: what does your job involve and can the skills which you need also be appied to other jobs? if so, which ones?

  My job requires skills in biology (which I am quite new to) as well as maths and computer skills. Also the ability to work well in teams and communicate well is very important to my job.
  
  With a maths degree I could have gone into banking/investment which pays a lot more but is much less interesting. Or teaching, which I admire but don’t fancy (yet). With my biology skills I can get a career in research in university or with medicine companies. My team working and communication skills and maths skills could allow me to enter business, in sales/retail.
  
  But I prefer my job
