• Question: do you think you will be doing something else than your job at the moment in 20years time?

      Ha, given the economics of everything at the moment – there’s not THAT Many jobs in science at the moment really, seen a lot of people in my department have to change career path, so it’s entirely possible I might still be doing this – but maybe not!

      I have no idea. I would love to stay in science if I can, but 20 years is a long time! I just hope that I can do something interesting and worthwhile. I imagine it will have *something* to do with science, whatever it is.

      Thats so far ahead i have no idea! I don’t know what i’ll be doing in two years time!

      I hope not, but possibly. I have funding for this project until August 2011, then I’m not even sure what will happen after that. I’m reaching a point in my career where jobs are very very competitive and sometimes I think I would rather spend more time with my husband than in front of a computer or working in the lab (as fun as it is!)
