Depends, in general a movie is over and done with quicker – takes me AGES to read a book, just because I don’t really have much time, usually just before I go to bed and then I’m just falling asleep! However, I much prefer certain books to the movies, like One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest. Sometimes it’s nice to imagine things yourselves than look at a director’s vision of how it should be.

Books. I think it’s because you use more imagination when you’re reading than when you’re watching – if we both read 1984, your Julia will look and behave differently to mine. So reading a book gives you something nobody else can ever quite share.

Difficult, I like both. I’m noticing I watch things more on iPhone now and read fewer books

books, because when you fall asleep reading them its easier to find where you were

books, because I can imagine what the author is saying without somebody else’s interpretation
