• Question: What is the smallest planet in the universe and what is it called?

      We don’t know the answer to this, we can only see a tiny proportion of the planets in the universe. Mercury is the smallest planet in our solar system. Pluto used to be the smallest planet, but it has now been reclassified as a “dwarf planet.”

      I agree with Sean, some would say Pluto and others now say it isn’t a planet. Plus, we don’t know eveything yet so who knows how many!
