• Question: Do you think we will be able to create more fossil fuels such as coal?

      Fossil fuels form over millions of years, so we don’t really have the time to make them. It would be possible to create the right conditions for to make fossil fuels in a lab but this would use more energy than you’d gain.
      I think our best bet is to invest in renewable technologies and new clean nuclear technologies.

      One day we may have to make liquid fuels like diesel to run our large trucks. Hopefully we will advance battery technology before we need to do this as it would be very expensive.

      Lena is right, we shouldn’t even consider this as a solution but work on alternatives like solar & wind power. Living in Yorkshire the solar is limited but some of my friends are developing solar panels that work on cloudy days too.
