• Question: do you meet alot of scientists?

      It’s really important to work with other scientists so that you can discuss your ideas. We do better if we work together and share the work than if we compete. We spend a lot of time with scientists in our departments, but we also go to national and international conferences where we present our work and meet with other people in our field.

      I work with a lot of scientists of various kinds. As Lena says it’s great to be able to talk to them and share ideas. That how a lot of work gets done.

      Quite often. I recently met James Watson, the pioneer who discovered the DNA structure. He got his noble prize in 1962….Our modern research is based on the DNA model which he described

      I work with scientists all day every day! I have met a few well known scientists in my area, some are a bit odd! 🙂

      Yes, the more time we spend talking to other scientist the better. Some scientists are definitely quirky, but that is all part of the fun!
