      So the parasite I work on is called Toxoplasma gondii, it lives inside cells and it can infect almost all animals in the world. But in order for it to reproduce properly it needs to be inside the stomach of a cat. So Toxoplasma likes to infect mice and rats so they are eaten by cats and the parasite can have babies.
