  A conversation over lunch! I applied to work on exoplanets, searching for planets around other stars. On the interview day I got talking to my (now) supervisor about looking at planets after their stars die. In the interview they asked if I would be interested in doing that if they couldn’t give me the position I applied for. I said yes, and here I am!
