I love Spanish. I worked in Argentina for a few years and learnt Spanish before I went. Lots of fun learning a new language! The only problem I had when I got there was that all the Argentinian scientists I was working with wanted to practice their English!

At school I liked Art and English but I was never that good at Art! I also did lots of sport which I kept up at University. It was really great to have some time off from science, especially when I was doing my PhD!

      I love Music,

I have a condition called Synesthesia which basically means that when I hear music I see colours flash in front of my eyes.

I’ve always loved music but I wouldn’t want to do it as a job because it’s a fun thing i do when i’m relaxing.

I used to enjoy History a lot when I was in school & learning languages was always fun too.

I also sang in a show choir & did musicals — minor parts, but great fun! 🙂
