Yes – I loved school very much. I didn’t enjoy all my lessons and I could be a bit naughty at times in the ones I didn’t like! But I loved doing some of the lessons, like chemistry and geography, and seeing all my friends each day! I felt like I was missing out if I was ever ill and couldn’t go to school!
How about you? Do you like going to School? What are your favourite subjects(s)?

Yes and no.
I don’t think anybody loves school all the time… it can be boring or really hard work and you have to do lessons that you don’t want to etc but I loved parts of it.
I had some really awesome teachers in science and music and drama and cooking which meant that I loved those parts but I was never very good at art or geography.
Some people think that scientists are all big swots who were great at every subject and who didn’t have to try hard to understand things but that’s not true at all. We all find things that we don’t understand or we don’t know and subjects that we are really bad at (I got an F once for a painting of a cat because my art teacher said it looked like a pig on a skateboard!)

Generally yes but it was mostly because I had good friends!
There were lots of points I didn’t like, I was always asking why we had to do certain things and I hated rules that I couldn’t see a reason for. I think this is why I like science so much, I can choose what I work on and how to research it and the rules are all for very good reasons! (like, dont drink that – it will make a hole in your stomach)

I loved learning, but I’m very lazy by nature — so often didn’t do homework or work very hard. But I was bright enough to get by okay anyway.
So I loved the learning parts of school, that was always fun! 🙂
