• Question: can dogs get cancer

      I am afraid so, my dog died of cancer.

      The most common types of cancer in dogs are lymphoma which is cancer of the lymph glands, bone cancer and breast cancer. One reason that more dogs are getting cancer now is that more dogs are living longer because people are tkaing better care of them. There are some treatments for cancer in dogs but people need to decide if it is in the best interests of the dogs since some of the treatments can have lots of side effects, just like in humans.
