      I like the idea of being able to control what and where particular amino acids are placed in a protein strand. Sometimes this totally screws up the protein’s shape and function, turning it into a glob of useless glue. But a lot of the time this can end up changing the structure and function of the protein in very specific ways. We can learn a lot about the things that are important for the protein function.
