Because I’m a very curious person- I like asking questions and finding out information to answer them.

I didnt want a job where I would be working 9-5, or doing the same lab work day in day out. I wanted a job which would pay enough for me to be a customer of nice shoes and not have to sell them as well and I wanted financial stability, something my family as farmers dont always have.

I’m a naturally curious person; I like to ask questions and I like solving problems. I also didn’t want a job where I sit at a desk all day every day, I want to be doing something different each day.

I didn’t go straight to university from school as I had no idea what I wanted to do, so I worked in a variety of different roles instead. When I finally decided a few years later that uni WAS for me, I had a clear idea of what I DIDN’T want to do 😅 and when I started studying forensic science, the lights came on and I knew this was where I would be happiest! Often, if you’re finding it hard to make a decision, eliminating other possibilities is easier and helps get you to the right place.
