      I think the people you work with make a huge difference to a good or bad working environment. I think if you have a good team of people around you then the work environment is much better.

      Where I work the environment is generally good, as Kate has mentioned it is the people that you work with that impact on your working environment. I think also if you have a manager that is supportive and helps you to deliver then that makes the work environment more pleasant.

      The people make the job. I always think people working in forensics are very accepting, non-judgemental and quirky. I love going to conferences and meetings as it feels almost like a second family.

      As others have said, the people that you work with and the work culture really make the environment. I’m lucky to have a great team of researchers, students and colleagues, and we’ve managed to build a supportive culture in our groups.

      Everyone has hit the nail on the head here – the success of a workplace is determined by the people within it and I’m very fortunate at the uni to be surrounded by pretty amazing people 🤩. With regards to the environment specifically, as long as there is an everlasting source of coffee, I’m happy!
