      I think you might be asking if we have ever known the victim that we might find at a scene. If so, the answer for me is no.

      I have heard lots of anecdotal stories of offenders who revisit the scene, but never encountered it myself.

      I think for major crime scenes police who are securing the cordon would be alert for any unusual activity
